If you come up against repeated opposition, and you know that dreads are the best thing for you then you need to take a complete assessment of your life.
3. Talk to your Human Resource department
Always be up front and honest about what your intentions are. Lay your cards down, as it were, and explain why dreads are important to you.
If you are a committed and valued employee you may find that the company is willing to allow you to get dreadlocks.
